ROGER JONES, Environmental Consultant
ISO 14001 LEAD AUDITOR
Mr.
Jones has over 25 years of experience working in the environmental compliance field for both government and private corporations.
He has in-depth technical knowledge on hazardous waste management, air emissions monitoring and inventory tracking,
water, and wastewater compliance. Mr. Jones serves the U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard as an adviser
for new Base Environmental Engineers, focusing specifically on environmental management systems and environmental regulatory
compliance. Mr. Jones has also overseen and conducted numerous Phase I and Phase II Site Assessments, including
CERCLA closure operations resulting in No Further Action issued by the Ohio EPA.
Mr. Jones is the Lead Project Manager for ISO 14001
at CEI. He has been directly involved with developing and implementing Environmental Management Systems
for facilities in Ohio. Mr. Jones has served as the lead auditor performing 2nd party EMS audits
for Air National Guard facilities in four states. He has served as the Chairman of a
local Watershed Group assisting Ohio EPA in preparing management plans. Mr. Jones also serves as the Department
of Defense (DOD) Chairman for the Ohio DOD/EPA pollution prevention partnership. Mr. Jones has been recognized
for his accomplishments and leadership in environmental compliance, pollution prevention, recycling, restoration of contaminated
sites and has received National and State awards.
